11/3/2016 Rock Hill CLE/Luncheon - Pump House Restaurant
For those of you who may have wondered what happened to the Olde English Region of South Carolina Women Lawyers Association (SCWLA) when our beloved Bess Lochocki left us for the allure of Pawley’s Island, you’ll be pleased to know that we are hosting a fantastic CLE on Thursday, November 3rd at the new Pump House Restaurant in Rock Hill.
We’ve chosen a subject that we think will be relevant to all practice areas, and have enticed SCWLA President Kelly Jolley to come up from Hilton Head Island and talk with us about the business side of our legal practices and how to help us all improve our bottom line. Kelly is giving the presentation to most of the other SCWLA regions, and we didn’t want to be left out! Her presentation is entitled "The Business of Law: Using KPIS to Build the Practice You Want,” and has been approved by the SC Bar for one-hour of CLE credit with course number 166851. This is your chance to get a free hour of SC-approved CLE credit with a nominal fee of $10 for a delicious lunch in a private dining room at the Pump House overlooking the scenic Catawba River. The lunch will actually cost SCWLA a lot more, but we wanted to defray the charges to you as a member benefit. We also want to use this as a recruiting tool to increase our membership in this region - so non-members will pay $25 for the luncheon, unless they decide to become members that day. ;)
The event will be from 11:30 am-1:15 pm, with the first 20 minutes or so reserved for networking, followed by a plated lunch, and Kelly’s presentation. For those of you who haven’t been to the Pump House yet, you are in for a treat. They serve wonderful food in a lovely setting.
Please email Nancy Olah if you would like to register for the event. To simplify matters, please bring a check or cash for the lunch fee with you to the event.
Please feel free to call me if you have any questions. We look forward to seeing you on November 3rd!
