Movie Night May 1, 2019 6:30PM - 9:00PM

Movie PosterSCWLA is offering a special showing of a recently-released movie about a woman lawyer who made (and is continuing to make) a difference. Saint Judy is a drama based on the true story of immigration attorney Judy Wood, and how she single-handedly changed the United States’ law of asylum to save women’s lives.

After the movie, subject matter experts will lead a discussion about the issues raised in the movie and the role of lawyers in (and opportunities for) addressing them. Only 119 tickets are available.

Please join us to enjoy the company of SCWLA members as we eat lots of popcorn, watch this wonderful film, and learn about the issues on May 1 from 6:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Tickets include all-you-can-eat popcorn, and the price is $15 for members and $25 for non-members (there is a small transaction fee added to tickets paid for with a credit card through PayPal). There is no refund for tickets once purchased.
