10.18.18 Calling all Volunteers! Lawyers4Vets pro bono legal clinic
Calling all volunteers! The Military Committee has arranged for SCWLA members to participate in the Lawyers4Vets pro bono legal clinic of the Appleseed Legal Justice Center on Thursday, October 18, from 9:00 to 12:00 at the Dorn VA Medical Center. The goal of the legal clinic is to pair lower income Veterans with pro bono attorneys to help with child support/arrearages, expungements/pardons, and wills/HPOAs. Training materials are available--prior experience in such issues is helpful but not required.
