Pro Bono Director- Columbia, SC

The University of South Carolina Joseph F. Rice School of Law seeks a Pro Bono Director. The Director of the Pro Bono Program manages all aspects of the Pro Bono Program, from the inception of new projects and daily operations to the preparation for future growth and development. The Director manages all new and existing project designs, promulgates policy, participates in decision-making regarding the implementation of the Pro Bono Program, and responds to requests for information from students, faculty, staff, the public, other professionals, and similarly situated program managers. In addition, the director manages the Public Interest Law Loan Forgiveness Program, which includes the distribution of funds and the development of policy regarding eligibility and applications. The Director oversees the Pro Bono Bus program, which involves working with state and regional stakeholders and mentoring students while coordinating legal assistance provided by pro bono attorneys to underserved communities across the state.
