Upcoming Events in the Midlands

Midlands Luncheon, Tuesday, February 11, 2013, noon at the Palmetto Club.  The luncheon will include a presentation on the Columbia Museum of Art's current exhibition from the Memphis Dixon Museum on French impressionists, entitled "Impressionism from Monet to Matisse."  Kerry Kuhlkin-Hornsby will provide an inspiring powerpoint tour of paintings in the exhibition from Mary Cassatt, Claude Monet, Pierre-August Renoir, Paul Cezanne, and many more artists.

 

*   Future luncheons in the works will include a session on Computer Tips and a joint luncheon with the League of Women Voters.  

 

*  Equal Pay Day Celebration, Tuesday, April 9, 2013.  The Midlands will participate as part of a national event with an evening happy hour.  Angel Warren will send out further details soon.
